Pierre TAL-COAT (1905 – 1985)

Pierre Jacob, better known as Tal Coat – which means “Wood Face“ in Breton – was a French artist considered to be one of the founders of Tachisme. He was friend with lot of important figures in the art world, such as André Breton, Gertrude Stein, Giacometti and Hemingway.
